@beygolu Sorry to bump an old thread, but do you have any clue about what fixed it for you? Facing the same issue.

When I generate the config it says Account type: unlimited , but the trace command says warp=on when I import that config to wireguard.

Try turning off WireGuard, waiting a little, re-creating profile, waiting a little, and restarting WireGuard with the newly created profile. As far as I understand this is merely a refresh/timing issue.

@ViRb3 Thanks for the info.

Maybe you should update the readme with a note about this.

I will if you confirm that it worked :)

I tried it, didn't work.

I'm planning on setting up everything from scratch with 30 min delay between each step. Let's see if that does anything.

Wait, sorry, I had misread your comment. What issue exactly are you having? trace saying warp=on means that WARP is working properly.

@ViRb3 Yeah, but isn't it supposed to show warp=plus for unlimited accounts? I'm using the license from my phone app which has plus enabled. I also get warp=plus if I hit the trace URL with my mobile browser.

Oh right, in case you have paid then yes, it's supposed to show warp=plus. I've never had this issue myself and I no longer pay for WARP so I can't help much here. Perhaps try re-creating the account key from the app and doing everything from scratch?

Thanks, you've already helped enough by confirming I'm not crazy. There is an actual issue on their side it seems.

BTW, do you by any chance know the benefits of Warp+ Unlimited? I don't see it documented in any official source other than "it makes your connection better", whatever that means. I know it's silly that I'm paying for a service without knowing its benefits, might unsub if it's not that major of a benefit over free tier.

@salmanmorshed
Hours after entering the "update" command several times, warp plus started working, that's what I remember.
As @ViRb3 says, it improves over time, I think there is a delay problem. I couldn't figure out exactly what caused the problem but mine still works as a warp on in the meantime. It turns itself to warp plus over time..

From https://blog.cloudflare.com/announcing-warp-plus/:

WARP+ uses Cloudflare’s virtual private backbone, known as Argo, to achieve higher speeds and ensure your connection is encrypted across the long haul of the Internet.
