Easily create JWT signatures without third party dependencies (except SecretsMan, obviously).
Read a key (importantly the private key) from JWK compliant json file:
var data = @"

".Replace("'", "\"");
var d = JsonSerializer.Deserialize<JwkData>(data, new JsonSerializerOptions
{
PropertyNameCaseInsensitive = true
});
var key = JwtSigner.ImportKeyFromJwk(d);
then use it to create Jwt tokens:
var somedate = new DateTime(2020, 12, 24);
var token = JwtSigner.CalculateJwtToken(key, d =>
{
d.Expires = somedate;
d.Claims = new Dictionary<string, object>()
{
{"shoe", 43}
};
d.Subject = new ClaimsIdentity("identiteetti");
});
Check.That(token)
.StartsWith(
"eyJhbGciOiJSUzI1NiIsImtpZCI6ImNjMzRjMGEwLWJkNWEtNGEzYy1hNTBkLWEyYTdkYjc2NDNkZiIsInR5cCI6IkpXVCJ9");
Main use case is supporting API gateway built in JWT authorizer (https://docs.aws.amazon.com/apigateway/latest/developerguide/http-api-jwt-authorizer.html). Hence, only RSA keys are supported.
