๐ penultimate year computing student at imperial college london
๐ focusing on c++, low-latency optimisations, and quantitative finance
๐ interned at netcraft this summer under the discovery team
i've always been driven by complex problem-solving and continuous learning. software engineering is a realm that is constantly evolving, and when amplified by the dynamics of quantitative finance, it is practically impossible to be satisfied with your learning. this creates endless room for growth, and constant self-improvement is something i'm passionate about.
๐ข developing a time-series database engine to explore data-intensive architectures intersecting with my interest in quantitative finance.
โ worked on a verlet integration physics engine. participated in a couple hackathons, winning ichack 24's citadel challenge in y1.
๐ฎ planning to work on an os and compiler to flesh out more of my systems programming experience, then stretch a little with my own network protocol.
my hobbies have been varied, from art to microbiology to swimming. now, i'm dedicated to swe, but to sum up a few interests:
๐ non-fiction (philosophy, psychology, computing)
๐ต music (hip-hop, r&b)
๐โโฌ cats (especially black cats)
โค๏ธโ๐ฉน my girlfriend (shoutout to her)
