It seems ARChon uses a much lower level networking interface than is usual.

Ditto. Proxy support would be great -- esp when stuck in a network that has an enforced proxy policy.

Hi,
I'm in Ubuntu and I thought that this could be fixed by defining the HTTP_PROXY in a console and starting chrome from it.
Not so easy.

Inspecting the IP packets with the wireshark tool (https://www.wireshark.org/) the songza (the android app runnning in chrome with archon) shot when coming up, I see that is trying to open a TCP socket connection to the songza server.
This tcp connection is not sent via the proxy normally, so the connection is never established. I suspect that is the reason why songza does not work via a proxy but I might be totally wrong.

I wonder if this can be fixed by using some TCP redirection tool like redsocks: https://github.com/darkk/redsocks

If I find the time to install redsocks in my ubu laptop I'll update my findings here.
if any of you does this or knows a better approach, let us know please!
