In §12.2.4 timeContainer the list of elements for which timeContainer applies omits br, yet in §8.1.7 br it is clear that br should be in the list.

Yes, since it can contain animation child elements, which may be timed.

Note that I've provided a fix for it in PR #172 (hopefully that's already obvious but I think the github UI can maybe make this a bit subtle, that the reference is actually from a PR that fixes the issue)
