This issue was raised in the TD call on 30 Mar 2016:

Clarify which fields in the TD examples are mandatory to parse the TD and which are hints for semantic interoperability.

I will update the samples with some nice colors to make clear what TD's core vocabulary is and what are the relation to another context

I just tried to do so, however, W3C has enabled code highlighting in the current javaScript version. Individual color setting in a code line gets complicated. I try to find a good solution.

Not relevant anymore, propose closing. The mentioned issues are addressed in the TD spec.
