Flexible scaling enabled but resolutions between 2560x1440 and 3840x2160 are unavailable #3047

I've enabled flexible scaling and I'm hoping to use 3200x1800 HiDPI but the highest mode I can get is 2560x1440

I'm using an M1 Mac mini and this happens on both

  • 4K Sony TV (HDMI)
  • 4K LG monitor (USB-C)

Hi there, the M1 mini can output a max of 2560px HiDPI width when using the HDMI port and 3072px when using the USB-C port. You can check the max supported width for the current connection under Display Information....
