Description: Page not loading correctly
Steps to Reproduce:
New profile, cookies deleted, load youtube.com either reject or accept cookies if prompted. Click any video on the front page. Navigate back in the browser, notice how the page stays the same yet the address bar changes accordingly.

This only happens on the first video and it is reproducible about half of the time.

We appreciate your report. I was not able to reproduce the issue, following the steps to reproduce it.

Tested with:

Browser / Version: Firefox Nightly 108.0a1 (2022-10-27) (64-bit)
Operating System: Ubuntu 20.4 LTS x64

Suggestion: Try clearing cache/data/cookies, disabling add-ons and Ad-blocker (if available) and extensions or use a clean profile, and check again? If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config) please revert to the default settings and try again. Also, have the required cookies been accepted for this page?

@marcel263 Since the cookie policy was rejected, this is expected. Can you please try the issue with the cookie policy accepted and post a screen recording of the result?

Dear,

there has been attached the screencast with now cookies accepted. It appears it coincides with youtube lay-out refresh, which loads in about 1 out of 5 times during current testing.

Please note, refusing cookies did not make a difference. Moreover it is a normal use case because it is site functionality and not user error through for example total disablement of cookies.

At :25 sec user navigates back.

This should help put lightnon critical user issue.

Attached is the incidence on a different Windows 10 machine. It took about 10 tries on an each time clean profile

It seems similar however it was not reproducible on chromium and happens on the video page. Thank you, still, for the provided assistence

@marcel263 I will close this issue in favor of the mentioned issue since more data is available there and the reach is larger. Please see the mentioned report for future updates and workarounds.

This appears to work now without the need for a site patch.
