When two users join a voice channel using the web version of Discord in Firefox, if one of the users leaves and rejoins the users will be unable to hear each other. This bug does not reproduce with Chrome 124.0.6367.207 or Safari 17.5.

Reproduction steps:

  • Two users on different computers join the same voice channel on the web version of Discord in Firefox
  • One user leaves the voice channel and rejoins (sometimes takes 2-3 tries to reproduce)
  • Only one of the two users will be able to hear the other, but they will be able to hear users in the channel that are using the native app.

We appreciate your report but I was not able to reproduce this issue. I was able to hear the other person even after quitting the call multiple times.

Tested on:
• Browser / Version: Firefox Release 126.0 (64-bit)
• Operating System: Mac OS

Suggestions:
• Clear cache/data/cookies, disable Ad-blocker (if available), or create a new profile (without syncing/importing data) and check again
• If there are any changes made to the default settings of the browser (e.g. in about:config), please revert to the default settings
