Character entities reference link is broken #8040
Comments
Where did you find this link? If it was on https://html.spec.whatwg.org, then this is the right place to report it, but if you found it somewhere else, that sounds like a bug in some other site. |
I had this link book marked as I use it to get the character encoding values to use in my coding.
It was working earlier last week or the week before. I think your update of the 17th blew it away.
Cheers,
Matt.

No, we have never hosted any page at that URL. I'm not sure what happened to your bookmarks... |
It looks like W3C had the reference under http://dev.w3.org/html5/html-author/charref.html (web archive). The page is now gone and that URL redirects to https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/charref.html |
My fault. Fixed now. (To make you browser take the fix, you may need to clear your browser cache.) |
Thanks. Now I need to get an eye transplant because they made this next to unreadable.
Cheers,
Matt.

https://html.spec.whatwg.org/multipage/charref.html looks as though it was deleted or not mapped to its new page.
