##The Quick Version

We expect all volunteers and attendees to be respectful of others during events, meetings or via communication channels including but not limited to the WHFNP Slack channel.

We expect all projects to be collaborative, supportive and accepting of new volunteers given there is work to be done.

We expect our community to be a safe, positive and collaborative environment.

Organizers and board members will enforce this code throughout events, but you may also contact us directly by email at help@womenhackfornonprofits.com. All communication will be treated as confidential.

##The Less Quick Version

All attendees, speakers, sponsors and volunteers at our events and on our communication channels are required to agree with the following code of conduct. Organisers, board members and volunteers will enforce this code throughout any events or channels. We expect cooperation from all participants to help ensure a safe and positive environment for everybody.

Women Hack for Non-Profits is an organisation dedicated to helping women to improve their technical skills while working on real life projects that help charities and non-profits. We are dedicated to providing a harassment-free environment for everyone regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, religion (or lack thereof) or race.

We do not tolerate harassment of participants or volunteers in any form.

Harassment includes offensive verbal comments related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, technology choices, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention.

Participants/members asked to stop any harassing behaviour are expected to comply immediately. If a person engages in harassing behaviour, the board members or organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including expulsion from the event or revoking access to communication channels.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a WHFNP board member or organiser immediately.
