I would like to bring back to your attention an issue I have mentioned to both of you a few times: Afra should display the Apollo logo. Afra is written as a modification to the plugin - and lives on top of JBrowse-, so it should acknowledge use of both in a more prominent manner, yet neither tool is identified on the Afra working windows.
Unfortunately, the phrase: "Parts of Afra are forked from or inspired by JBrowse and WebApollo" displayed at the bottom of the README is also not enough to appropriately credit our copyright. The Apollo plugin is licensed with copyright from the Regents of the University of California and as you can read on the terms of the Apollo License, redistribution and use in source and binary forms, with or without modification, are permitted provided that our copyright notice is retained, along with the list of conditions and the disclaimer we have included in the license. This means you will want to extend the Apache License and Copy Rights from QMUL to include this information.
You know how very much I dig Afra! I also am taking necessary steps to ensure that licenses and copyrights are appropriately followed and acknowledged. Please let me know if you have any questions and I will be very glad to assist you in any way I can to complete these steps.
Happy Annotating!

I will be happy to address this after I'm back (I'm home for ~2 weeks). In the meantime I would like to draw your attention to the NOTICE.txt file, where I have discussed copyright stuff in more detail.
@yeban Perfect. Evidently, you were listening, and I didn't know where to look! It didn't occur to me to read a "NOTICE.txt" file. 😁 Perhaps the notice can simply be renamed to something along the lines of "License Notice", or something similar.
Have fun at home! We'll chat about the rest later. -- step.away.from.the.computer! ☀️ 🍀
- Rename NOTICE.txt to LICENSE_NOTICE.txt so that is stands out.
- Put footer on dashboard as well and acknowledge JB and WA.
- Remove attribution from header - redundant with footer.
