Thanks for the pull request, it's now merged! I've set up automated tests on www.travis-ci.org for Python 2.6, 2.7 and 3.4 so I don't accidentally drop Python 3.x support (I'm not yet using it very actively at the moment :-). |

I wanted to use your library python-deb-pkg-tools within my Python 3 scripts. So I update the code to be used with Python 3.
