The Bank of Scotland is one of the subsidiaries of the Lloyds Banking Group.

Live Environment

Precondition: To connect to live Open Banking entities for accessing Account Information or Payment Initiation scopes, your business must have the right regulatory permissions as per Open Banking Guide

1. Upload the certificates & keys (transport, signing) from Open Banking into Yapily's certificate vault https://dashboard.yapily.com/#!certificates

2. Add this institution into your app from the Live tab and configure the institution by adding Signing Key ID from Open Banking & selecting the certificates from the dropdown, press next https://dashboard.yapily.com/#!applications

3. Click to download the Software Statement Assertion(SSA) used for obtaining key & secret

4. Log in with Open Banking and navigate to dashboard https://developer.lloydsbanking.com/accounts-product-lyds-v2

5. Create an app using the SSA downloaded, to get Client ID and Client secret

6. Copy the credentials from this app onto Yapily dashboard - add the obtained credentials Client ID as Key & Client secret as Secret and save your app

Open banking sandboxes are common to all the 9 biggest UK Banks including Lloyds Bank. To use them on your app, you can either;

• select ⭐Yapily's preconfigured sandboxes⭐ or..
• signup as a developer entity with the sandboxes and configure the credentials on Yapily;

  • Forgerock Sandbox
  • Ozone Model Banks
