PINE A64+

Product Introduction

The Pine64 is a cost-optimized board sporting ARMv8 (64-bit ARM) capable cores. It was one of the first available boards with a 64-bit Allwinner chip, and one of the first affordable boards with an 64-bit ARM core in general.

Kernel 6.9.2

Kernel 6.9.2 is rock solid in Pine64+, building Kernel 6.9.2 with gcc-12 on uSD for testing new devfreq and checking stability. The board works great in real time using Gstreamer and a hardware h264 encoder.

OV5640

  • I found that the auto focus (AF) failed on this camera, future work will explore what the problem is, maybe a driver failure, or just this issue. I don't have another ov5640 camera to test at the moment. And compare which aspect of the problem is more likely to occur.
