Right now updates are manual: download the new installer from the release page. An in-app button that checks the latest release is the cheap first step; a signed auto-updater is the real answer.
Vote + tell us: would you trust an unsigned auto-updater at all, or should signing come first? And should updates be opt-in or automatic?
