Lag when pressing super + a (show all applications) #3
Comments
Did you press super+A while the overview was already visible, or did you press it from your normal desktop? Because on my system super+A from my normal desktop instantly shows the "all applications" view, whereas pressing super+A while the overview is visible takes longer because of the default animation of the app icons. |
For me, from both starting points it shows lag; and the lag is also present when going to Activities. |
Same here on Dell XPS 13 (9360) with i7-7500U and Intel HD Graphics 620 and GS 3.24.3 on Wayland (Archlinux) |
Does this issue still persist with the newest version of the extension from this repo? |
Yes the animations still lag. Atm on ubuntu 17.10 with gnome 3.26 now on the same intel machine |
After removed still persist how can I solve it ? |
This should be fixed now with new ShellBlurEffect introduced in v7. |
Awesome filter thanks for the extension!
Ubuntu 16.04.2 GNOME 3.20 dell xps13 2017
When I press the show all applications button/super + A it lags really long. About 0,5 seconds.
