"Latest release" doesn't work on Windows

I wasted hours of my time trying to figure out why the "Latest release" jar I downloaded from the official releases page wasn't working, until I found Issue #167

Although Issue #167 was "closed" all the way back in 2014, the latest release is still 2.4.8 (from Jul 3, 2013), which is still broken on Windows. I suggest one of the following solutions:

• providing a new release that fixes this issue
• updating the releases page with the patched jar provided by @Hofferic in the comments for Issue FileNotFoundException on Windows #167
• or, at the very least, adding a note to the release page stating that 2.4.8 doesn't work on Windows

5 years with no official patch for such a critical issue, is way too long!

Thanks a lot @Hofferic the JAR you provided works! Not sure why the one in releases didn't work maybe because I didn't restart webstorm, it works now however!
