  1. CodeChix Madison, a chapter of women developers interested in furthering the career and learning opportunities of women in STEM industries. Men are welcome to attend most of the public events.

  2. Meetup: Madison Group Projects for Aspiring Software Professionals, a Meetup.com group organized for helping aspiring developers to build out their portfolios through group projects.
