Release list
1.0.16
1.0.15
Fixes a plugin-activation crash reported on install: Plugin failure … Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'replace').
- The model tokenizers now degrade to "no tokens" on a null/undefined slip instead of throwing, so a stray undefined text value can no longer crash the engine.
- Engine/model bring-up is isolated so any failure loads the plugin in a reduced (still usable) state rather than failing to activate at all — Obsidian treats a rejected load as "Plugin failure", which is what left the plugin impossible to enable.
If you hit the earlier error, updating to this version resolves it.
1.0.14
- Plugin-scan cleanup: destructive buttons (Factory reset, Reset statistics, Reset personalization) now get their red styling from the stable `mod-warning` CSS class instead of `setWarning()`/`setDestructive()`, so neither the deprecation recommendation nor the "API newer than minAppVersion" warning fires. No minAppVersion change, so no users are dropped.
1.0.13
- Settings: the buy-me-a-coffee block now sits between the writing-stats headline and the See/Reset-stats menu, as part of the stats section.
- Personal dictionary: the manager refuses to add a word that's already pinned (case-insensitively) or already recognised by the engine, explaining why instead of stacking a duplicate.
- Accuracy: added a behaviour-level autocorrect regression suite (transpositions, doubled/dropped letters, i-before-e, contractions, run-together words) plus must-not-touch coverage (real words, homophones, acronym plurals, proper nouns, gibberish) run through the shipped configuration.
- Housekeeping: cleared plugin-scan findings (setWarning → setDestructive, dropped deprecated setDynamicTooltip, removed unnecessary type assertions).
1.0.12
Confidence floor that stops nonsense low-probability suggestions; prefer the singular over its plural; suggestion rows show the exact cased form that will be inserted; personal dictionary can override a word's capitalisation; a proper dictionary manager window; settings group renamed to Formatting.
1.0.11
Semantic inline link underlining (experimental) built on the LSTM embedding matching; a real personal-dictionary editor (added-by-you vs learned); 'i'->'I'; and a Convenience settings group with euro placement, negative amounts, ISO currency codes, and fraction glyphs.
1.0.10
1.0.9
Currency
- Symbols now sit where each currency actually goes: signs like $ € ¥ ₹ lead the number, while the dong, krona, złoty, franc, hryvnia and ruble trail it ("1,000 ₫").
- Decimals are padded to at least two places ("10.5" → "10.50"), and a 3-digit decimal is no longer misread as a thousands group.
- The popup offers a single "Format currency" action (with the target symbol on the right), not a reformatted string or a "dollars" completion. It fires for "$10000", "10000$", "1000euro" and partial words, and Tab applies the whole conversion at once.
- Undoing a currency or ordinal fix no longer adds the token to your dictionary.
Casing
- Proper nouns keep their capital: "Federal " suggests "Reserve", and "federal Reserve" is repaired to "Federal Reserve".
Tags
- The tag popup shows up to five matching existing tags first, then a few new ones.
1.0.8
Currency
- Symbols now sit where each currency conventionally goes ($100, €100, but 100 kr).
- The number to convert no longer spans a space, so "2003 34 dollars" becomes "2003 $34".
- Works without a trailing space ("1000euro"), and is offered in the suggestion popup with the symbol shown, so Tab does the whole transform at once.
- Decimal mark is kept as you typed it (with "none") or set by the thousands separator.
- Currency options moved to their own "Additional features" settings group.
Predictions & autocorrect
- Sharper "Suggest alternatives": a short list of genuinely close synonyms instead of a padded menu.
- Numeric tidying: 21th → 21st, 1930's → 1930s.
- Proper-noun casing repaired in phrases ("federal Reserve" → "Federal Reserve").
- "2$ " now offers a following-word suggestion.
- Within-document cache boost is bounded, so a rare note word can't take over the menu.
Layout
- Writing stats and the support block sit together, below the reset buttons.
- Tag suggestions show your matching existing tags first, then a few new ones.
1.0.7
✨ Highlights
Suggest alternatives is now context-aware. Right-click a word and the ranking uses the sentence around it — "the coffee was very strong" → potent / intense, not weak. Built on the lexical-substitution literature (substitutability × context fit), with a learned valence direction that pushes antonyms down and an oracle filter that drops junk and misspellings.
New: automatic currency tidying. Type the number and it formats — $1000 → $1,000, 1000 euros → €1,000. Covers all major world currencies; the thousands separator (comma / period / none) is a setting. On by default.
Also in this release
- More aggressive autocorrect for clear non-words (real-word overrides stay conservative).
- Writing stats moved to the top of settings.
- The "yours" badge / personal dictionary only holds words nothing else recognises; stale entries are tidied automatically.
- Tag suggestions accept with Tab and close on accept.
- The alternatives menu is now an inline popup at the word (Tab to accept, more than three options).
- Fixes the "odd suggestion after a while, gone after reload" drift, and reads the live editor buffer for tag/dictionary sync.
