Hi! From the description of the game update news 1.4.0 about Unity versions: "Planetbase was initially developed in 2015, using Unity 5, this update brings is up to date to Unity 2022.3, which is the latest stable. "

In light of this, has anything changed now in your Framework, and mods?
Maybe now there will be more possibilities to create mods (textures, items, buildings)?

If all of a sudden your framework is no longer working, I suggest you look at the framework:
"Planetbase-Framework", "Planetbase Mod Patcher 2" and its add-on "Planetbase Framework JPFarias compatibility layer" created by solidDoWant.

With these tools it is possible to add and Planetbase game new textures, objects, structures, new buildings, technologies, types of colonists, ships, and maybe some other things I forgot about.

You can also communicate to modders who are in charge of adding new items/buildings/textures to the Planetbase game, for example here:

  1. NexusMods forum thread "Is This Game Still Alive for Further Mods?".
  2. GitHub discussion thread "Is it possible to create a mod that adds new buildings or items?".
  3. GitHub discussion thread "Modding Progress With PlanetbaseFramework".
  4. Planetbase Discord.

Here are screenshots with examples of adding new textures, items and buildings to the game.
