Materials and parts

  • A hard and stiff 3D printing material, such as PLA.
  • A soft and non-slip 3D printing material, such as TPU.
  • Screws and nuts:
    • M3
      • Hex nut × 2
      • 6mm screw × 2
      • 0.1mm washer (optional) × 2
    • M2
      • Hex nut × 4~10
      • 15 or 16mm screw × 2
      • 4mm screw × 2~6

Tools

Required

  • A 3D printer (and general 3D printing-related tools), both FDM or Resin printers, can do the work. Assembling offsets for different printers can be adjusted in Fusion 360.
  • Screwdriver (PH0).

Optional

  • Cyanoacrylate (CA-260) - to glue the rubber parts onto plastic parts. Optional since the material splitting can be turned off (see picture below), and the assembly of the foot pad does not require gluing.
  • Some carpenter's clamp - to fix parts while gluing.
  • Sand papaer (240#, 400#, 600#, 800# and 2000#).
    • Sander.
  • Grinder and >= 1mm grinding bit - to grind small latches on TPU parts.
  • Lubricant (Vaseline) - to lubricate the rotating axles.
