💫 About Me

Hello! I'm Jack, an MS student specializing in Computer Engineering at UIUC. With experience in site reliability and data engineering roles at Talos and StoneX Group, I'm passionate about creating impactful software that drives innovation and safety in technology. Some of my industry work includes:

  • Talos: Improved business-level alerting, optimized GCP costs and specifications, automated processes, and visualized infrastructure.
  • StoneX: Developed a pipeline to test commodity index profitability, added version control to Databricks jobs and notebooks, integrated Okta authentication into a web app, and created visualizations.
My passion lies in writing code that matters, which aligns with my research interests. Recently, I focused on advancing autonomous vehicle safety by reducing accident risks by 72.7% through active traffic risk assessment and analyzing faults in supercomputers.
