What's new in v0.3.0

Failure Propagation Visualizer

The Networks tab has been completely redesigned. It now shows a live split-pane view that lets you immediately see which containers are unhealthy and what events triggered the failure.

Coloured topology graph (left panel)

Container nodes change colour in real time based on the event stream:

Icon Colour Meaning
● green running
◑ yellow restarting
✗ red dead
○ gray no event data yet

Per-network event timeline (right panel)

Shows container lifecycle events filtered to the selected network, with exit code and OOM annotations on die events:

15:04:01 ○ die api-server exit=137 OOM
15:03:55 ↻ restart worker
15:03:40 ● start nginx-proxy

Narrow terminal fallback

When terminal width < 80 columns the panel falls back to a plain network list to avoid layout corruption on narrow SSH sessions.

Under the hood

  • ContainerState struct in internal/docker/state.go tracks health derived from the event stream
  • EventInfo now carries ExitCode and OOMKilled fields parsed from container/die Docker API attributes
  • Model.ContainerStates map is updated on every start / restart / die / destroy event
  • Demo mode emits realistic ExitCode (0, 1, 137) and OOMKilled on live die events
