What's new

  • First stable release. KeyLint 5.0 is the first non-beta release of the new KeyLint. It includes everything from the 4.x betas: Silent Fix on Ctrl+G, the new Pyramidize (you pick the form, one call writes it, and Send back pastes the result formatted), and a choice of six AI providers.
  • OpenRouter. One OpenRouter key reaches models from many vendors. Fix and Pyramidize work with sensible defaults, and the model picker searches OpenRouter's whole catalogue as you type. KeyLint contacts openrouter.ai only while OpenRouter is the provider in use.
  • AWS Bedrock. Use Claude models from your own AWS account. Connect with a Bedrock API key or with the AWS sign-in already on your computer; KeyLint stores nothing for the sign-in.
    • You choose where your text may be processed: within your region's geography (the default) or worldwide.
    • Test connection checks the setup with one short request.
    • Some AWS accounts can't use the newest Claude models yet. KeyLint then says so and names a model every account can use.
  • Provider order. Settings and the setup wizard now list the Anthropic API and Claude Code side by side, then OpenRouter, OpenAI, AWS Bedrock and Ollama.
