Pre-release installer for testing the upcoming Scrap Mechanic Patch 1.0.6.

  • Keeps the tested 1.4.8 VR payload and Quest 3 / Meta Quest Link behavior unchanged.
  • Allows installation on a newer untested game build only after a prominent default-No warning and explicit confirmation.
  • Keeps all managed-file integrity checks enabled and refuses to overwrite unknown modified game files.
  • Unsupported game builds may still fail to start, show a black screen, render incorrectly, or crash. Compatibility is not guaranteed until Patch 1.0.6 has been tested.
