ToneCue 2.1

ToneCue now works with Raycast.

  • ToneCue for Raycast. Switch scenes, apply a scene by name, mute the microphone, and ask @tonecue which scene is active and why it switched. The extension talks to the running app over a private local connection (only your macOS user can reach it) and does nothing without it.
  • Install the extension. Until it is in the Raycast Store, download ToneCue-Raycast-Extension-2.1.0.zip below, unzip it, run npm install && npm run dev inside the folder, and the commands appear in Raycast.
  • Under the hood: a local control socket in ~/Library/Application Support/ToneCue/, used only by the Raycast extension.

14-day trial, then a one-time license (9,99 EUR). Requires macOS 13 or later. Updates arrive through the app.

ToneCue 2.0

A new interface and new automation, under a new name (formerly AudioPilot).

  • Scenes with triggers. A scene holds an ordered input list and an ordered output list. Triggers: a device is connected, a calendar meeting is running, an app is open or in front, a microphone is in use, a time window.
  • It says why. The popover names the active scene and gives the reason in one sentence. Recent switches have an Undo.
  • Your pick wins. Choose a device by hand and automation pauses until the scene changes or you press Resume.
  • Bluetooth guard. When macOS flips the input to a headset that just connected, ToneCue puts it back.
  • Global shortcuts. Mute, open the popover, apply a scene.
  • New popover and onboarding. Tabs, device menus on the input and output tiles, a guided first run.
  • English and German.

14-day trial, then a one-time license (9,99 EUR). Requires macOS 13 or later. Updates arrive through the app.
