What's new
- Agent desktops (Cua Spaces): one macOS VM per project, shared by its agents, each with its own cursor. Send any app with Send to Hover VM.
- Teleport that moves: sending a browser asks which tabs (pick several; they open in one window in the VM), then closes them here. A browser left with nothing open, or any other app, quits on your Mac once it's there.
- One-click setup on a fresh Mac: no Homebrew or Node needed. Node.js, ripgrep and the GitHub CLI come from their own releases, checked against pinned SHA-256 sums, into
~/.localwith no password. Get Started shows what this Mac still lacks (the agent sandbox, git) with one button each. - Offers to move itself to Applications when opened from Downloads.
- One-click updates for the agents and Cua Driver.
Install
- Unzip and open Hover.app. It is signed ad hoc and not notarized, so macOS blocks the first open: click Done, then System Settings → Privacy & Security → Open Anyway. (Or run
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine ~/Downloads/Hover.app.) - Let Hover move itself to Applications.
- Settings opens on Get Started: click Set Up beside each agent you use.
- Hover the notch, or press Option-N.
Agent desktops need macOS 26 on Apple silicon.
