👻 Ghostman v0.1.0 — Initial Public Release

We're excited to announce the first official release of Ghostman — a fast, local-first terminal API client and embedded webhook inspector designed for developers who love keyboard-driven terminal workflows without the bloat.

⚡ Highlights & Features

  • Blazing Fast: Cold boot in under 150ms with a tiny ~30MB memory footprint (no 1GB Electron overhead).
  • Embedded Webhook Server: Press Ctrl + W to spin up a local receiver on http://127.0.0.1:9090 to catch, inspect, and replay webhooks in real-time.
  • 100% Local-First: All collections and requests are stored as plain JSON/YAML on your local disk (~/.ghostman/). No cloud lock-in, no telemetry.
  • Vim & Keyboard-Driven: Full keyboard controls — send requests with Ctrl + S, save with Ctrl + K, and prepare new calls with Ctrl + N.
  • Full HTTP Method Suite: First-class support for GET, POST, PUT, DELETE, and PATCH.
  • Cross-Platform: Runs seamlessly on Windows (with UTF-8 / run.bat support), macOS, and Linux.
