v1.2.1 — DxO highlight fix

DxO PhotoLab: more accurate highlights

• PhotoLab estimates its white level per image. Ordinary photos fall back to the sensor saturation level (31742 in PhotoLab's units), while the synthetic chart used for v1.2.0 gave 23623. The 12 .cube LUTs are now built for 31742.
• On the test image, this removes the red shift in the brightest tones (210–250): +2.05 → +0.37 (8-bit units). Everything below the highlight threshold is unchanged. This is an offline prediction from the earlier PhotoLab export; the new LUTs have not yet been re-exported from PhotoLab.
• Lens corrections (distortion, chromatic aberration, lens sharpness) can stay on in PhotoLab. Leave vignetting off to match Sony.

DxO PhotoLab：高光更准确

• PhotoLab 的白电平是逐图估计的。普通照片会回退到传感器饱和值（PhotoLab 单位下为 31742），而 v1.2.0 标定所用的合成色卡得到的是 23623。12 个 .cube 现在按 31742 生成。
• 在测试图上，最亮一段（210–250）的偏红从 +2.05 降到 +0.37（8 位）。高光门槛以下完全不变。这是用之前的 PhotoLab 导出离线预测的结果，新 LUT 还没有在 PhotoLab 里重新导出验证。
• PhotoLab 里的镜头校正（畸变、色差、镜头锐度）可以打开；暗角校正建议关闭，以便和 Sony 一致。

v1.2.0 — DxO PhotoLab

New: DxO PhotoLab

All 12 Creative Looks now work in DxO PhotoLab, as a linear base DCP plus one 64³ .cube LUT per look (PhotoLab Elite, LUT Grading palette; tested with PhotoLab 10.1 on macOS).

PhotoLab feeds the LUT through its own processing, which was measured on the synthetic chart and partly reverse-engineered:

• Mid-tones and shadows: linear, the same scale as Camera Raw. Chart error 0.11 (8-bit units).
• Highlights within about 1.7 stops of clipping: PhotoLab's highlight recovery and a further compression take over. Colour patches there differ by 4.6 on average (26 at most); grey is matched.
• Very saturated greens and blues: PhotoLab clips negative values in its Wide Gamut working space. This is modelled.

On the test image, an ST export from PhotoLab matches the look chain rendered with the same white balance to 1.18 (8×-reduced mean absolute error, the same measure as the Results table), with a mean colour shift of 0.25–0.67 per channel. It has not yet been compared with an Edit export.

Settings that matter: DCP Curve = Adobe, Protect Saturated Colors = 0, LUT Color Space = ProPhoto RGB, and start from the "6 – No correction" preset.

• 12 种外观现在都能在 DxO PhotoLab 里用：一个线性底座 DCP，加上每个外观一张 64³ 的 .cube LUT。需要 PhotoLab Elite（LUT 调色面板），在 macOS 的 PhotoLab 10.1 上测试过。
• PhotoLab 在送进 LUT 之前有自己的处理，已经在合成色卡上测定，并部分逆向：
  • 中间调和暗部：线性，刻度和 Camera Raw 相同，色卡误差 0.11（8 位）。
  • 过曝前约 1.7 档以内的高光：由 PhotoLab 的高光恢复和后续一段压缩接管。彩色色块平均差 4.6（最大 26），灰阶是对上的。
  • 很饱和的绿色、蓝色：PhotoLab 会在 Wide Gamut 工作空间里裁掉负值，这一点已建模。
• 测试图上，PhotoLab 导出的 ST 和同一白平衡下的外观链相比误差为 1.18（缩小 8 倍后的平均误差，和效果表同一口径），各通道整体偏差 0.25–0.67。还没有和 Edit 的导出图对照。
• 关键设置：DCP 曲线选 Adobe，饱和色保护设为 0，LUT 色彩空间选 ProPhoto RGB，从"6 - 无校正"预设开始。

New: Sony's highlight colour handling (SSCS) in all 12 looks

Before the look is applied, Sony's software runs a stage called SSCS. It pulls bright, saturated colours towards their luminance, starting about 1.8 stops below clipping. Earlier releases left it out, so bright saturated colours such as yellow skies, neon and bright flowers came out somewhat more saturated than in Sony's own rendering.

The stage is now ported bit-exactly and built into every profile. We measured ST exports of the test image against Edit, over the ~5% of the frame that SSCS affects. The colour error there dropped:

• Capture One: 0.64 → 0.16 (8-bit units); overall error 0.93 → 0.91.
• Camera Raw: 0.61 → 0.33. Camera Raw's own slight brightening of highlights (≈ +0.7) is a separate, known issue and is unchanged.

Only bright colours change: in every profile, the table nodes outside the SSCS region are identical to v1.0.2. All 24 profiles are updated, so replace all of them.

新增：索尼的高光颜色处理（SSCS），12 种外观全部包含

• 索尼软件在套用外观之前会先运行一步 SSCS：从过曝前约 1.8 档开始，把又亮又饱和的颜色逐渐向亮度收拢。之前的版本没有这一步，所以亮黄天空、霓虹、亮色花朵这类颜色会比索尼直出略艳。
• 现在这一步已经和索尼原程序逐位一致地移植，并放进了所有配置文件。
• 用测试图导出 ST 和 Edit 对照，在受 SSCS 影响的约 5% 画面上，色度误差：Capture One 从 0.64 降到 0.16（整图 0.93 → 0.91）；Camera Raw 从 0.61 降到 0.33。Camera Raw 自己在亮部略微偏亮（约 +0.7），这是另一个已知问题，这次没有变化。
• 只有亮色会变：每个配置文件里，SSCS 作用范围以外的表格节点都和 v1.0.2 完全相同。24 个配置文件都更新了，请全部替换。

v1.0.2 — fix shadows in FL2, FL3, IN and SH

Fixed: shadows in FL2, FL3, IN and SH

The camera's Creative Look defaults include a Fade setting for four looks: FL2 = 1, FL3 = 1, IN = 3 and SH = 6. Earlier releases built every look at Fade 0, so these four came out with shadows that were too dark and too much contrast. Fade lifts the black point and lowers the tone gain. Sony's code for this was already ported bit-exactly; the profiles just weren't using each look's default.

• Darkest output (L*): FL2/FL3 ≈ 2, IN ≈ 7, SH ≈ 17 (was 0).
• The other 8 looks are byte-identical to v1.0.1. If you already installed v1.0.1, you only need to replace the FL2, FL3, IN and SH files.

修正：FL2、FL3、IN、SH 的暗部

• 相机里这四种外观默认带有"褪色"：FL2 和 FL3 是 1，IN 是 3，SH 是 6。之前的版本对所有外观都按褪色 0 生成，所以这四种的暗部偏黑、反差偏大。
• 褪色会抬起黑位、降低影调增益。这部分索尼代码早已逐位一致地移植了，只是之前生成配置文件时没有用上各外观的默认值。
• 现在最暗处的 L*：FL2/FL3 约 2，IN 约 7，SH 约 17（之前都是 0）。
• 其余 8 种外观和 v1.0.1 完全相同。已经装过 v1.0.1 的话，只需替换 FL2、FL3、IN、SH 这四个文件。

v1.0.1 — fix BW and SE looks

Fixed: BW and SE (Sepia)

v1.0.0 skipped the Effect stage that Sony's software runs for the BW and Sepia looks:

• SE came out almost in full colour instead of sepia-toned.
• BW was grey, but its tonality was off, with shadows too dark.

The Effect stage is now ported bit-exactly. BW and SE are rebuilt for both Capture One and Camera Raw. The other 10 looks are byte-identical to v1.0.0, so if you already installed v1.0.0 you only need to replace the BW and SE files.
