- Download the repo either through a git clone or as a zip. (Example pictured below).
- Open the Extension Management page by navigating to chrome://extensions.
- Alternatively, open this page by clicking on the Extensions menu button and selecting Manage Extensions at the bottom of the menu.
- Alternatively, open this page by clicking on the Chrome menu, hovering over More Tools then selecting Extensions
- Enable Developer Mode by clicking the toggle switch next to Developer mode.
- Click the Load unpacked button and select the extension directory.
Ta-da! The extension has been successfully installed. Because no icons were included in the manifest, a generic icon will be created for the extension.
- Open up the Extensions menu by clicking on the puzzle piece to the right of the location bar.
- Select the stashdb-extension menu item to get the configuration popup.
- From here you can configure your stash host and API Key if using Authentication.
- (Optionally) you can choose to pin the stashdb-extension to your location bar by selecting the pin.
