Behavior and installation

The supplied active INI enables CAP4=4 and Refresh Spread=1440 game minutes
(24 game hours). Normal company refresh uses the existing balanced buckets.
Bulk/sleep processing and direct trailer activation remain unspread.

Close ETS2 and back up your current DLL and INI. Copy both CargoMarketFix.dll
and CargoMarketFix.ini from this exact-target ZIP into
Euro Truck Simulator 2/bin/win_x64/plugins/. Do not mix target DLLs or reuse
a diagnostic INI. To disable the patches, close the game and use the supplied
disabled INI example as CargoMarketFix.ini, or remove the plugin.

Only production patch/lifecycle code is included. No historical observers,
runtime diagnostics, membership instrumentation, accepted-vector changes,
collectors, debug hooks or network telemetry are compiled into this DLL.
The executable on disk is never edited.

Trade-off

Normal refresh at a company may be delayed by roughly 24 game hours. Offers
may temporarily be fewer or less fresh. Initial activation can still take time.
Time jumps and changing company lists are not a fixed-snapshot guarantee.
No save format or persistent cache is added, but changed scheduling can affect
offers later saved. Disabling the plugin does not recreate identical past offers.

Validation and limitations

STRUCTURALLY VALIDATED / NO PHYSICAL GAMEPLAY TEST PERFORMED ON THIS EXACT BUILD. Exact-image semantic analysis and native/offline validation passed. No live startup, measured freeze reduction, large-map or owned-trailer gameplay, sleep/bulk gameplay, offer-quality or clean live shutdown test is claimed for ETS2 1.61.1.9. Historical live runtime diagnostic evidence belongs only to the separate exact ETS2 1.61.1.1 target.

Fresh read-only analysis re-identified CAP4's candidate-count clamp, existing
four-budget arm and attempt-loop consumer. It also verified the new normal
sweep's exact signature, register ABI, empty/body continuations, and separate
bulk/refill/activation routes. The existing quiesced two-byte CAP4 backend and
v161 empty-list bridge remain appropriate; neither algorithm was redesigned.
Native/offline tests cover exact-target isolation, 1440 arithmetic, low/high/empty
counts, register/FP/stack preservation, fault/unwind paths, quiescence,
install/restore, rollback and containment.

The earlier smaller-map live diagnostic A/B runs on 1.61.1.1 are historical
context only. This new exact target has not been launched or gameplay-tested.

The ZIP contains CargoMarketFix.dll, active CargoMarketFix.ini, this README,
MIT LICENSE and the disabled INI example. Verify the DLL and ZIP using this

Close ETS2. Back up the current CargoMarketFix.dll and CargoMarketFix.ini. Copy
both files from this ZIP into Euro Truck Simulator 2/bin/win_x64/plugins/.
To disable both patches, close ETS2 and use the supplied disabled example as
CargoMarketFix.ini, or remove the plugin while the game is closed. Do not mix
DLLs and INIs across target releases. The executable on disk is never edited.

The DLL contains no research observers, call-cost diagnostics, membership hooks,
collectors or network telemetry. Only the intended SCS telemetry exports exist.

Trade-off

may temporarily be fewer or less fresh. Time jumps or changing company lists
are not a fixed-snapshot guarantee. No save format or persistent cache is added,

Validation and limitations

STRUCTURALLY VALIDATED / LIVE RUNTIME DIAGNOSTIC TEST PASSED.
Exact-image static analysis and native/offline checks passed. The exact ETS2
1.61.1.1 executable was also physically run with a private diagnostic build
retaining the production CAP4 and Spread1440 logic. In a smaller-map A/B test,
Mode A (CAP4=4, Spread1440 ON) selected normal-sweep buckets over 2,043
companies: 31 sweeps, no fallback or range-consistency failure, maximum
captured sweep about 88.7 us. Mode B (both OFF) traversed the full range:
37 sweeps, maximum captured sweep about 92.569 ms. Game-minute progression
and clean diagnostic shutdown/restoration were observed. Outside-sweep
Destination totals were 14,576 (A) and 24,830 (B); these sessions differ in
length and do not establish a normalized speedup.

The public ZIP DLL was not the diagnostic binary and the ZIP assets remain
unchanged. Its bundled README reflects the qualification at publication time;
this updated online release note is the current qualification. The 1.61.1.1
large-map recurring-freeze scenario was not reproduced or physically validated.
No universal stutter elimination, owned-trailer large-map performance,
sleep/bulk gameplay, or exhaustive offer-quality claim is made.

Static analysis proved the exact new CAP4 branch and budget dataflow, the
nine-byte normal-sweep bridge site, and the separate bulk and activation routes.
Native/offline fixtures cover 1440-bucket arithmetic, empty/low/high counts,
register and FP preservation, install/restore, rollback, containment, exception
paths and quiescence. See the current repository

Maintained behavior

CAP4 keeps the current-trailer Cargo Market generation-attempt budget at 4.
Refresh Spread partitions the normal company refresh sweep across 1440 game
minutes (24 game hours). Bulk/sleep and direct activation remain unspread.
The recompiled 1.61 normal sweep requires a dedicated nine-byte bridge layout;
the existing empty-list condition is preserved before any game-minute read.

This is not a universal FPS, GPU or all-stutter fix.

Validation and limitations

The installed 1.61 executable was inspected read-only. Automated checks cover
exact signatures, CAP4 budget dataflow, normal/bulk/activation route separation,
1440-bucket arithmetic, low/high counts, empty buckets, GPR/stack/FP preservation,
exception paths, quiescence, installation, exact restoration, rollback and
containment. Earlier descriptors and native fixtures remain supported; their
original executables were not newly available for inspection. See VALIDATION.md.

What's changed

The packaged active configuration changes Refresh Spread from 180 to 1440 game
minutes (24 game hours), with CAP4's fixed generation-attempt budget of four.
180-minute spreading could still cluster many expensive Cargo Market regenerations
in one game-minute update. 1440 reduces the maximum number of company entries in
each normal refresh slice; individual regeneration cost can still vary.
This is not evidence that time of day itself causes the issue, nor a universal FPS,
GPU, or general-stutter optimization.

Install

refresh. Fewer or less-fresh Cargo Market offers may temporarily occur. Sleep/bulk
processing and activation/direct generation are separate and unchanged.
No save format or serialization mechanism is changed and no cache is persisted.
Changed refresh scheduling can nevertheless change the offers later saved; disabling
the plugin does not retroactively regenerate identical historical offers.
No membership cache, accepted-vector changes, or adaptive scheduler is included.

Validation

STRUCTURALLY VALIDATED. No physical Spread1440 gameplay test is claimed for this target. No measured freeze reduction, owned-trailer, sleep/bulk gameplay, or offer-quality validation is claimed. A historical 1.60 startup smoke passed with earlier spread settings; it was not a Spread1440 gameplay test, and clean live shutdown was not confirmed.

Focused automated checks cover exact target selection and rejection, CAP4/Spread
signatures, both native spread ABIs with 1440 buckets, bounded arithmetic, empty
buckets, install/restore, rollback/containment and quiescence. Other targets' original
executables were not newly rerun: their previously validated descriptors and authored
native maintenance fixtures were used. The installed 1.57 executable was checked read-only.

This release contains one target DLL and one active INI, README, MIT LICENSE, and a

SUPPORTED / STRUCTURALLY VALIDATED

PRIOR LIVE STARTUP SMOKE PASSED. 180-MINUTE GAMEPLAY PERFORMANCE NOT PHYSICALLY VALIDATED. The prior private 60-minute build installed CAP4 and the dedicated Refresh Spread bridge and remained responsive at the menu for 131 seconds. That is historical patch-site compatibility evidence, not a live test of this 180-minute public binary. Clean live shutdown/restoration was not confirmed. Owned-trailer performance, sleep/bulk gameplay and offer quality were not physically validated on this version.

180-minute maintenance update

CAP4 remains fixed at four current-trailer Cargo Market generation attempts.
Refresh Spread accepts exactly 60 / 120 / 180 minutes; recommended active setting: 180.
Normal company refresh is spread across three in-game hours, with up to approximately 179 in-game minutes of offer-refresh delay.
Bulk/sleep and trailer activation are not intentionally spread by this scheduler; CAP4 and those established paths are unchanged.
Both patches remain opt-in and disabled by default. The packaged active example enables both, with 180 minutes and observers OFF.
Unsupported executable builds fail closed. No broader matching, memoization, new observer or residual-stutter investigation is included.

Validation

Focused affected checks: 214/214 named cases.
One Release x64 maintenance run: 313/313 named cases, 7/7 suites, 255.57 seconds, no retries. Covers exact descriptors, 60/120/180 contiguous coverage (including empty/uneven and 12921-company inputs), original CAP4, native state/unwind, install/restore/rollback/containment, configuration and unknown-build refusal.

The exact target hash/sites/ABI are retained from the previously certified private port; that historical executable was not freshly reread in this rollout. Fresh target-specific authored image tests exercise its exact descriptor, signature isolation, 180 publication, install/restore and fail-closed handling. Native bridge fixtures execute the corresponding validated ABI. The currently installed 1.57 image is also checked read-only by the common maintenance suite; that read is not presented as a fresh 1.60.1.7 executable validation.

The certified spread implementation is promoted from private main without changing its algorithm or bridge ABI. Each release has its own version metadata, build, ZIP, notes, checksums and tag. The shared binary internally recognizes the certified four-build set, but use the release specifically labeled for your game. This task did not launch ETS2, perform gameplay QA or deploy files.

Install and opt in

Close ETS2. Put the DLL and disabled default INI into Euro Truck Simulator 2/bin/win_x64/plugins/.
To explicitly activate CAP4 plus 180-minute Spread, use the packaged config_examples/CargoMarketFix.cap4-spread-active.ini as CargoMarketFix.ini in that directory. Check the startup log for exact-build acceptance and minutes=180. No observers are compiled. This is not an .scs mod. Fewer/less-fresh offers are possible; no absolute freeze-elimination claim.

Changes

CAP4 current-trailer Cargo Market generation-attempt limit: budget 4.
60-minute normal refresh spreading, with the validated 1.60-specific bridge.
Validated quiesced two-byte CAP4 backend for the 1.60 target and auxiliary-repair safety handling.
Patches are opt-in and disabled by default. Unlike previous release packages, the default INI does not activate either behavior patch. Use the separate active example only when explicitly opting in.
Unknown executable builds fail closed. Exact hashes and signatures are required; matching is not broadened. Historical/research observers, including membership shadow, are not compiled into the public DLL.

Validation and limitations

The full automated suite passed during private validation (1183/1183). The validated private 1.60 build passed a real ETS2 startup smoke: DLL identity and load were confirmed, the exact executable was recognized, initialization succeeded, CAP4 target bytes matched and budget 4 installed, and Refresh Spread was ACTIVE for 60 minutes. Observers remained OFF. The game remained responsive in the menu for 131 seconds after initialization, with no observed plugin/crash errors or repeated initialization.

Result: startup smoke passed with shutdown untested. The single normal-close attempt did not complete; clean live shutdown/restoration was not confirmed. Offline/native restoration tests do not replace that missing live evidence.

Gameplay performance on ETS2 1.60 was NOT physically validated. Actual recurring-freeze reduction is NOT measured. Owned-trailer gameplay, sleep/bulk gameplay and Cargo Market offer quality were NOT tested. No such performance or gameplay claim is made. The public 1.3.0 release wrapper/build is validated offline; the live smoke used private version 0.12.0 with the promoted patch implementation, not this public binary.

Installation and opt-in

Close ETS2 before installation. Extract CargoMarketFix.dll and default CargoMarketFix.ini into Euro Truck Simulator 2/bin/win_x64/plugins/ (create plugins if needed). Both patches are initially OFF.

To opt in to CAP4 plus 60-minute Refresh Spread, copy the packaged config_examples/CargoMarketFix.cap4-spread-active.ini to that plugin directory as CargoMarketFix.ini, replacing the disabled default. All observers stay OFF. This is not an .scs mod and does not use Mod Manager. Check the new startup log for exact-build acceptance and both active patches.

Normal offer refresh may be delayed by up to approximately 59 in-game minutes, with fewer or less-fresh offers possible. The algorithm does not intentionally spread activation or bulk/sleep refresh; that statement describes design, not new 1.60 gameplay evidence. Initial trailer activation may still take time.

1.57 retains its previous practically tested status; 1.58 and 1.59 retain structurally validated status. Other executables, including other 1.60 builds, are not implicitly supported.

180-minute maintenance update

CAP4 remains fixed at four current-trailer Cargo Market generation attempts.
Refresh Spread accepts exactly 60 / 120 / 180 minutes; recommended active setting: 180.
Normal company refresh is spread across three in-game hours, with up to approximately 179 in-game minutes of offer-refresh delay.
Bulk/sleep and trailer activation are not intentionally spread by this scheduler; CAP4 and those established paths are unchanged.
Both patches remain opt-in and disabled by default. The packaged active example enables both, with 180 minutes and observers OFF.
Unsupported executable builds fail closed. No broader matching, memoization, new observer or residual-stutter investigation is included.

Focused affected checks: 148/148 named cases.
One Release x64 maintenance run: 313/313 named cases, 7/7 suites, 259.65 seconds, no retries. Covers exact descriptors, 60/120/180 contiguous coverage (including empty/uneven and 12921-company inputs), original CAP4, native state/unwind, install/restore/rollback/containment, configuration and unknown-build refusal.
