DeepCode is a local-first coding agent with GUI, TUI, and CLI interfaces that share model connections and conversations.

October 17 adaptation update

  • DeepSeek web.search now uses the standalone Search API directly. It reuses the selected DeepSeek connection, returns sources and summaries without an extra model request, and preserves errors, cancellation, result limits and execution archives.
  • OpenAI and Codex continue to use their own search paths. DeepSeek search credentials are scoped to DeepSeek connections.
  • The built-in preset is displayed as DeepSeek Flash and uses the current model defaults. Model-specific setup and capability details are maintained in the dedicated DeepSeek guide.
  • The English and Chinese READMEs keep general setup instructions and link to provider-specific guides.

This refresh includes the existing 0.6.50 capabilities: GUI project previews, Computer Use with embedded browser, Chrome and native desktop support according to platform permissions, independent target previews, the image viewer, subagent details, conversation-wide cache usage, and shared TUI language settings through /language.

The two macOS Apple Silicon (ARM64) assets have been rebuilt from main commit 7e5cb6e01da72e34b16c4735c2689f6d0e13dd30, which integrates #88 and #89. The existing 0.6.50 release is retained and its tag points to this revision.

  • DeepCode-0.6.50-macos-arm64.pkg: install, then open /Applications/DeepCode-GUI.app; terminal commands are deepcode-cli and deepcode-tui.
  • DeepCode-0.6.50-macos-arm64.tar.gz: extract the archive, then open macos-arm64/DeepCode-GUI.app. From that directory, run ./DeepCode-CLI.command or ./DeepCode-TUI.command.

The applications use the project's persistent local development signing identity. The .pkg installer itself is unsigned; the applications are not signed with an Apple Developer ID and are not notarized. macOS may require explicit first-open approval. Windows and Linux remain available through the documented source-build path.

The required Docker checks and focused model/search/provider-isolation tests passed before submission. The maintainer confirmed the adaptation behavior and requested this asset refresh without repeating runtime acceptance. No new CLI/TUI/GUI or PKG-installation acceptance run is claimed for this rebuild.

本次保留 0.6.50 已有能力：GUI 项目预览，按平台权限提供的内置浏览器、Chrome 与原生桌面 Computer Use，独立目标预览、图片查看器、子智能体详情、会话累计缓存用量，以及通过 /language 保存的 TUI 界面语言设置。

两个 macOS Apple Silicon（ARM64） 产物均从 main 提交 7e5cb6e01da72e34b16c4735c2689f6d0e13dd30 重新构建，已包含 #88 和 #89。沿用现有 0.6.50 Release，并将标签同步到该提交。

  • DeepCode-0.6.50-macos-arm64.pkg：安装后打开 /Applications/DeepCode-GUI.app，终端可使用 deepcode-cli、deepcode-tui。

提交前的 Docker 必验检查及模型、搜索、Provider 隔离聚焦测试均已通过。维护者已确认适配行为正常，并要求直接更新产物，不重复运行验收；本次重建不新增 CLI／TUI／GUI 或 PKG 安装流程的验收声明。
