v1.5.12-beta.7 — Customize Home (test build 7)

Seventh test build. Not for general use.

Fixed / changed

• The settings pop-in animation is back. What went away instead is the ripple (the water-drop wave) when you press a row on the settings pages; rows still round off and shrink.
• Track rows, cards, albums and playlists wait a short hold before their press animation, so sliding through a list no longer triggers it. Buttons, settings rows and sheet rows still respond instantly.
• Bottom bar and Library section pickers: each choice has an icon in a circle like Add shelf, and a hidden choice is greyed out instead of unticked.
• Merged main (new Crowdin strings) and dropped two orphaned French strings.

v1.5.12-beta.6 — Customize Home (test build 6)

Sixth test build. Not for general use.

Fixed

• Settings pages no longer pop their sections in with a scale animation when they open or scroll into view (the Settings category list is unchanged).
• Tapping a shelf in the customizer, including the big Because you listened to cover, can no longer start a song.
• Reset, Done and Add shelf are round at rest and tighten and widen under your finger while their neighbour gives way, exactly like the artist page buttons, and respond the instant you touch them. (Last build had them the wrong way round.)

Changed

• Feed shelves about one song or artist, such as "Troye Sivan - She's the Best", no longer show. The feed's own "Because you listened to..." and "Similar to..." shelves are left out too, so only Home's single Because you listened to shelf remains and they cannot pile up.
• The artist page buttons and the context menu buttons also press the instant a finger lands.

v1.5.12-beta.5 — Customize Home (test build 5)

Fifth test build. Not for general use.

New

• Popular on Agro and YouTube Music picks are now shelves you can always add (Add shelf, grouped under From Agro / From YouTube Music). If one is empty, the customizer says why: Agro not paired, server not answering, no data yet, or none of its popular songs are in your library; YouTube Music not connected, not answering, or no shelves.
• Reset, Done and a big Add shelf button now sit at the top of the customizer, and react like the sheet rows (round off and shrink the instant you touch).
• Plays from a shelf show as a small pill in its settings.
• Every shelf has its own icon in Add shelf (no more history icon on everything).

Changed

• Press feedback is instant everywhere: the corners rounding and the content shrinking now start the moment a finger lands. Add shelf and settings rows shrink their text and icon too.
• Bottom bar and Library section pickers have taller rows.
• Sheets (Add shelf, shelf settings, section pickers) now use the app's shared sheet, and stretch overscroll is off inside sheets so the first swipe down closes them. Please check this on the playlist sheet too.
• A YouTube Music home feed that fails on every page is now reported as a failure instead of an empty feed.

v1.5.12-beta.4 — Customize Home (test build 4)

Fourth test build. Not for general use.

Fixed

• Pressing a list row: the frame rounding and the content now react together (both wait the same short hold a click does), so a quick tap no longer flashes the frame alone.
• From your friends: refreshes your friends' drops from Agro before building, and an empty shelf now says why. It still needs your Agro server to return drops.

Changed

• Add shelf and shelf settings open fully expanded.
• Smoother motion: language options unfold when you pick Christian, layout changes cross-fade inside the shelf card, layout tiles animate as the choice moves, optional rows slide in and out.
• Add shelf now has From YouTube Music and From Agro groups; when empty they say why.

New

• Settings > Look and feel > Navigation: choose the bottom bar shortcuts (Library, Friends, History, Stats, Settings; up to 3) and their order, and which Library sections show and in what order.
• Per-shelf source filter: in a shelf's settings, "Only from" limits it to chosen sources.
• Shelf usage: plays started from each shelf are counted on this device only. Shelves nothing is played from get a Rarely used badge and a suggestion in the customizer once there is a week of history.

Known limits

• YouTube Music and Agro shelves only exist if those services return them (YouTube Music signed in, Agro server supporting popular/drops).
• No French artists yet.

v1.5.12-beta.3 — Customize Home (test build 3)

Third test build of the Home customizer. Not for general use.

Changed

• Customize Home moved to Settings > Look and feel > Home. It opens Home in the customizer.
• Source icons are gone from the Home and Search filter chips.
• One layout set for every shelf, chosen from a visual picker: Carousel (the expressive carousel from Recently Played), Cards, List, Grid, Spotlight, Mosaic, Pages. Your Favorites and Heavy rotation now default to Carousel.
• Rows in settings and in the grouped lists (library, history, playlists, album, artist) round off while you press them.
• In the customizer, hold a shelf with one finger and slide a second finger to scroll the page.
• Shelves from YouTube Music, Agro and friends are tinted and badged in the customizer and in Add shelf.

New

• From your friends: songs friends sent you, as a shelf (needs a connected source to find them).

Known limits

• Genre shelves from beta.1 are not carried over; a layout saved with the old favorites carousel falls back to that shelf's default.
• No French artists yet.

v1.5.12-beta.2 — Customize Home (test build 2)

Second test build of the Home customizer. Not for general use.

Changed

• The editor now shows each shelf exactly as it renders on Home, and you can scroll it sideways.
• No more buttons on shelves: hold a shelf to move it, tap it to edit layout, length, or remove it. Default shelves can be removed too and come back from Add shelf.
• Reset asks first. The radio button and the shelf play button are hidden while customizing.
• Add shelf is redone with expressive rows and motion.

New

• Genre shelf: pick any mix of categories — Christian music and any genre tagged in your library. For Christian, choose Português and/or English.
• More shelves: Rediscover, Heavy rotation, Fresh in your library, Late night, Random picks.

Known limits

• No French artists yet, so no French option.
• The Christian shelf searches your connected sources, so it needs a connection (YouTube Music or Navidrome).
• Genre shelves made in beta.1 are not carried over.

v1.5.12-beta.1 — Customize Home (test build)

Test build of the Home shelf customizer. Not for general use.

Try

• Home header, tune icon: open Customize Home.
• Drag the grip to reorder; the switch hides a shelf; the tune button sets layout and length.
• Add shelf: add a genre shelf from your library's tagged songs; remove it from its settings.
• Reset puts back the default order. Relaunch to check it persists, and try a backup restore.

Known limits

• Shelf previews in the editor are approximate, not exact layouts.
• Friends-activity and Christian/language shelves are not in this build.

The APK is attached by CI in a few minutes.
