Overview

This release includes the initial version of the Cache Cleaner application. The application is designed to clean temporary files from common directories on a Windows system to help free up disk space and improve system performance.

Features

• Cache Cleaning: Cleans temporary files from:
  • C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Temp
  • C:\Windows\Temp
  • C:\Windows\Prefetch
• Error Handling: Displays errors in red and indicates skipped items in orange.
• Completion Message: Displays a green message upon successful completion of the cleaning process.

Installation

1. Download the Executable:

   • Click the link below to download the cache_cleaner.exe file.

     cache_cleaner.exe

2. Run the Application:

   • Double-click the executable file to launch the Cache Cleaner.

How to Use

• Start Cleaning: Click the "Start Cleaning" button in the application to begin the cleaning process.
• View Results: The application will display detailed information about the cleaning process, including the number of items removed and any errors encountered.

Known Issues

• Ensure that the application has the necessary permissions to access and modify files in the specified directories.
