Fixed
Files an agent edited with an inline script were invisible to the edit tracking. Newer
models often write p='x.json' on one line and open(p, 'w') on the next instead of putting
the path inside the call. The hooks only recognised a literal path inside the call itself, so
such an edit was treated as touching a computed path and claimed nothing: no capture evidence,
and no co-change nudge for the files that usually change with it. A variable that holds a
literal is now followed one step back to its last assignment, and each open call in a script is
judged on its own, so a script that reads one file and writes another marks each correctly.
Loops, sys.argv and built-up paths still claim nothing, on purpose. (#176, #177)
A read-only open was reported as an edit when the file name began with w, a or x.
The write check matched the quote plus the first letter of the path, so open('app.json') looked like mode 'a'. It now looks only at the mode string after the first
argument. (#177)
Nested Java generics broke same-package edges.Repo extends Base<Map<K, V>> had its
generics stripped only one level deep, leaving a stray > in the recorded parent name so it
never resolved to a file. Stripping now repeats until nothing is left, which also removes junk
names from the unresolved count. On kafka this added 153 edges; jmri gained 1. (#178)
Quotes were not escaped in the notebook viewer's esc(), so a note title or path
containing " or ' could break out of an HTML attribute. (#178)
A Vue/Svelte <script> block closed with </script > or </script bar> was not recognised
as ended, so the rest of the file was read as script. HTML allows whitespace and attributes in
an end tag; extraction now does too. (#178)
Changed
Graph viewer search matches across separators and works from the keyboard. A query like kb elicit now finds kb-elicit.mjs (hyphen, underscore, dot and slash count as spaces), and
the arrow keys move a highlighted result that Enter picks instead of always taking the first.
