Commsuite 1.1.2
Local password vault and password change: Settings > Security now has an encrypted vault for passwords you choose to save. Records are encrypted with AES-GCM using a key derived from a dedicated vault passphrase (PBKDF2-HMAC-SHA256); they never leave your device, and forgetting the vault passphrase means they cannot be recovered. The new Change password screen verifies your current password and updates the server (which stores only a bcrypt hash); you can unlock the vault inline and optionally mirror the new password into it. Also fixes the reported crash 'Call initialize before setting the stream' when a stream was torn down before the local/remote video renderer had been initialized (issue #9).
Commsuite 1.1.1
Two-factor authentication: open Settings > Security, scan the QR code with an authenticator app (or enter the key manually), then confirm a 6-digit code. Sign-in now asks for the code after your password, and you receive ten single-use recovery codes shown only once. Turning 2FA off requires your password plus a current authenticator or recovery code. Nobody can recover your password from the server; existing accounts and sessions keep working unchanged until 2FA is enabled.
Commsuite 1.1.0
Stream tab: Twitch-like live directory with channel profiles (title, description, game autocomplete), public/unlisted/contacts visibility and multi-viewer broadcasts for up to 8 viewers. Dedicated per-stream chat, viewer list, kick/ban, channel moderators and slow mode. Media stays relayed through the server TURN relay (never peer-to-peer). Demo and smoke-test accounts are now hidden from the people directory.
Commsuite 1.0.42
Live streaming (B1): open a 1:1 chat and tap the broadcast icon to go live for one viewer. Media is relayed through the server TURN relay (never peer-to-peer); the viewer is receive-only, and the broadcaster can mute or turn the camera off mid-stream. Also fixes the Windows crash on app close caused by disposing the WebView2 environment after the plugin channel had already shut down. Note: this build corrects the version constants, so the app no longer reports 1.0.41 or prompts to reinstall 1.0.42 on every launch.
Commsuite 1.0.41
Multi-account support: keep several Commsuite accounts signed in and switch between them from the avatar in Chats and People. Each account keeps its own unread badges, language, camera and microphone; add or remove accounts without signing out of the rest.
Commsuite 1.0.40
Programmable bots: real bot accounts that can be added to chats and groups, a Python bot API with long polling, and built-in replies and mini-apps. Also includes verified badges, the support panel, and developer tools.
