Wild Arms v0.1.0 (Wave 4 owned-input setup kit)

You supply your own SCUS-94608 disc image (Redump CUE/BIN, or a CHD of the same dump) and your own SCPH-1001 (USA) BIOS dump. First-run setup generates and compiles the game on your machine. No disc, BIOS, generated game code, or save is included.

Setup: extract the ZIP for your system into a writable folder, start Wild_Arms (.exe on Windows), select your disc image and BIOS in the wizard, choose Generate & rebuild. Windows downloads the portable build tools; Linux and macOS need CMake, Ninja, Python 3, and a C/C++ compiler on PATH.

Verified on this exact Windows package: clean-extract setup, generation, compilation of the normal and diagnostic builds, marker toggle, headless start (1853 guest frames), diagnostics collector. All four packages passed the archive, payload, and native generator checks in CI. Not verified: gameplay on these packages, native Linux/macOS setup and gameplay; macOS builds are ad-hoc signed, not notarized. Play testing of the private builds this kit derives from is recorded in the README's Status section, with the known issues.

Diagnostic mode: create an empty diagnostic-mode.txt next to Wild_Arms (or run Wild_Arms --diagnostic), reproduce the problem, then run Wild_Arms --collect-diagnostics and attach the resulting diagnostics-<date>.zip to a GitHub issue here.

Framework: psxrecomp (pinned fork commit in the psxrecomp submodule); launcher: recomp-ui (pinned in recomp-ui). Developed with AI assistance; Alex tests the game and makes release decisions. The original game and its trademarks belong to their respective owners.
