The term "shred" designates sheared pieces of end-of-life tyres. The shred is composed of elements of different sizes, essentially measuring between 25 mm and 350 mm.

Primary shredding consists of tearing or fragmenting operations on end-of-life tyres. The average overall composition of shred is similar to that of whole tyres.

Main applications

  • Cement works (alternative fuel)
  • Steelworks
  • Foundries
  • Granulation
  • Urban heating
