Suvadu 0.5.2 is a distribution release: Suvadu installs the same way however you get it, cargo binstall fetches the signed pre-built binaries, and the MCP server is ready for the official MCP Registry. There are no changes to recording, search or the database.

Added

  • cargo install suvadu also installs suvadu, the same command as suv, as Homebrew and the install script already provide. suvadu mcp-serve now works however Suvadu was installed, and it's the name MCP clients use when installing Suvadu from the official MCP Registry (io.github.AppachiTech/suvadu).
  • cargo binstall suvadu downloads the release binaries instead of compiling, and verifies each tarball's minisign signature with the key suv update uses.

  • Homebrew describes Suvadu by what it does: brew search and brew info show "Shell history search with AI agent command tracking and an MCP server".
