Ive noticed ark processes still running after closing application in ubuntu 16.04 requiring them to be killed. Also possibly some sort of memory leak along with this. Every wallet version ive tried has the same problem.

@keihardhet I fixed this with PR #357 after I saw your Reddit post. It will be fixed in the next release.

@goatsnake are you experienced this issue with the last version?

After days of my computer running oddly slow on Mac OS Sierra version 10.12.6, I realized that ARK processes were running in the background even after I had quit the app. I have since just ended those processes (forced quit) and it resolved itself. I haven't run the app since, waiting for some update/bug fix. reffering to version ArkClient-Macos-1.4.1.dmg, from https://github-production-release-asset-2e65be.s3.amazonaws.com/73618120/daef21fc-ade9-11e7-9831-78770980d0ab
UPDATE: Just updated to version 1.4.3 - which has now resolved the prior bug issue.

Why am I getting this email

  • @JESUSANSWERS777 when you "watch" a repo there is an option to automatically receive email updates to thread comments, these are sent via Github, not by us commenters. You should be able to disable them or filter them into folders/etc.. Hope that helps.

@hatgit the duplicate processes should be resolved with the recent update (1.4.3). There were instances where they can still be running from a previous version, so let us know if the processes start to re-appear in the background after closing the app, once you've updated to the most recent version (which I can see you've just done)
