Timesheet 2.2.0

Choose a tag to compare

@AshrafByte AshrafByte released this 02 Nov 06:40

Changed

  • A new look that matches Super Productivity's task widget: softer cards with thin inset edges, tinted round buttons and pills in place of bordered ones, sentence-case labels instead of capitals, and a smaller set of text sizes and weights. Every color comes from the app's theme. The layout is unchanged.

Added

  • The comparison with the previous week is green when up and red when down, next to its arrow.

Fixed

  • Going from one week to another with identical contents, such as two empty weeks, left the old dates on the day cards.
  • The chart tooltip no longer covers the column it describes when it's too tall to fit above it.
  • Week arrows, the add button on each day and the collapse arrows are drawn as sharp, centered icons.
  • Dropdowns line up with the text fields in the dialogs, and small alignment and spacing fixes in the tooltip, subtask rows and settings.

Updating: upload sp-timesheet-v2.2.0.zip over the installed plugin (Settings → Plugins → Choose Plugin File). Don't remove the plugin first: removing a plugin in Super Productivity deletes its saved data on every synced device.

Timesheet 2.1.0

Choose a tag to compare

@AshrafByte AshrafByte released this 01 Nov 15:24

Added

  • The Insights breakdown shows projects and tasks as a donut, with the total in the middle and the list beside it as its legend. Hover a slice or a row to light up the other and see its time and share; on a touchscreen, tap a slice. The five largest items get their own slice and the rest share an "Other" slice, listed under their own heading. Items that share a color, such as one project's tasks, get lighter tints of it. Tags keep the bars, since a task with several tags counts toward each.

Fixed

  • With Super Productivity following a dark system theme, charts used the colors meant for the light theme, and native controls such as the date picker were drawn for a light background.
  • A few seconds of tracked time showed as 0h, as if nothing was tracked. It now shows <1m.
  • Pressing export before the view had loaded saved an empty CSV.

Timesheet 2.0.1

Choose a tag to compare

@AshrafByte AshrafByte released this 28 Oct 17:25

Fixed

  • Super Productivity logged an error each time it loaded the plugin: the plugin added its own sidebar entry, so the one the app adds for it was rejected as a duplicate. The entry now comes from the app and shows the plugin's icon.

Timesheet 2.0.0

Choose a tag to compare

@AshrafByte AshrafByte released this 28 Oct 16:53

A weekly timesheet and charts of the time you track in Super Productivity.

Install: download sp-timesheet-v2.0.0.zip below. In Super Productivity 14.0.0 or newer, open Settings → Plugins → Choose Plugin File and select the zip, then open Timesheet from the sidebar.

Updating: upload a new zip over the installed plugin. Don't remove the plugin first: removing a plugin in Super Productivity deletes its saved data on every synced device.

Highlights

  • Timesheet view: one card per day with tasks, projects, tags and tracked time against daily targets, manual entries for work done away from the app, and CSV export.
  • Insights view: the week as stacked columns by project, progress toward the weekly target with a pace marker, breakdowns by project, tag or task, and the last 12 weeks.
  • Hours stay on record after a task is deleted in Super Productivity.
  • Saved data is merged rather than overwritten across synced devices, and data written by a newer plugin version is never overwritten. Backup and restore are in settings.
  • The week can start on any day or follow Super Productivity's setting, and "Today" follows the app's start of next day.
