🚀 JioFiber Sercomm JCOW414 OpenWrt v1.1 (Factory Release)

This is the verified, working community OpenWrt release for the Sercomm JioFiber JCOW414 / JCO4032 Home Gateway router (EcoNet EN7528HU SoC).

⚠️ First-Time Installers: Flash using the .trx (Factory Image) via root Telnet on stock Jio firmware R2.15.

  • 🔌 4x Gigabit LAN Switch (1000 Mbps): All 4 physical LAN ports (lan1–lan4) automatically bridge into br-lan out of the box with DHCP active at 192.168.1.1.
  • 💡 Hardware GPHY LEDs: Green (Gigabit Link) and Amber (Traffic Activity) LEDs blink properly on physical cable connection.
  • 💾 USB 2.0 & SuperSpeed USB 3.0: Dual independent 5V power rails (pinctrl 9 & pinctrl 11) active for storage & 4G/5G dongles.
  • 📶 Calibrated Dual-Band Wi-Fi: Pre-configured factory calibration for 2.4 GHz (MT7603E) and 5 GHz (MT7613E/MT7663).
  • 🖥️ LuCI Web Dashboard: Pre-installed and ready out of the box with SSL.
  • 🛡️ Zero-Risk Dual-Bank Safety: Flashes into Bank 1 (tclinux), leaving your stock Jio firmware untouched in Bank 2 (tclinux_slave).

Community OpenWrt 1.0 for Sercomm JioFiber JCOW414

The first fully working, live-tested community OpenWrt firmware for the Sercomm JioFiber JCOW414 router (powered by the EcoNet / Airoha EN7528HU SoC platform).

🚀 Verified Working Features

  • Kernel: Modern Linux 6.18.55 (Airoha staging tree).
  • CPU: EcoNet EN7528HU Dual-Core MIPS 1004Kc @ 900MHz (all 4 VPEs active).
  • RAM: Full 432 MB usable DDR3 system memory mapped and operational.
  • Switch: All 4 Gigabit Ethernet LAN ports verified running at 1 Gbps full-duplex.
  • Web Interface: Modern LuCI web administration with HTTPS/SSL enabled out of the box.
  • Dual-Bank Safe Flashing: Flashes exclusively to Bank 1 (tclinux), leaving your stock firmware in Bank 2 as an untouched failsafe recovery.

    The ready-to-flash factory firmware image (wrapped with EcoNet HDR2 container).
  2. JioFiber.Universal.Root.Unlocker.zip:
    1-Click root backup unlocker for Windows (supports JCOW414, JCOW404, JCOW403, JCOW401, JCO4032, JCO110).

⚡ Quick Flashing Instructions (from Root Shell):

  1. Downgrade router to R2.15 via Web UI and achieve Telnet root access using JioFiber.Universal.Root.Unlocker.zip.
  2. Transfer openwrt-jiofiber_jcow414.trx to /tmp/openwrt.trx on the router.
  3. Flash to Bank 1 (using -f to bypass vendor TRX checks): 
    mtd -f write /tmp/openwrt.trx tclinux
