I used JamesDSP on Linux and RootlessJamesDSP on Android for years, and I missed it when I moved to a Mac. So I built jdsp4mac. It's a menu bar app that runs the libjamesdsp copy from this repo on everything a Mac plays, through a Core Audio process tap. No driver, no kernel extension.
It follows JDSP4Linux wherever it can. Settings use the same audio.conf format and Linux presets import as they are. RootlessJamesDSP backups and old Android profiles import too. jdspctl takes the same remote options as jamesdsp --help.
The vendored libjamesdsp has four small local changes, all listed in Vendor/libjamesdsp/UPSTREAM.md. One of them may be worth taking upstream. JamesDSPFree destroyed the mutex before its final unlock.

Hi all, and thanks to Tim for JDSP4Linux.

If anyone here has a Mac too, I'd love to hear how your presets come across.
Thanks for your help in advance!
