Summary

  • pdt deploy --plan shows the plan and the monthly cost and changes nothing.
  • pdt records where each app is deployed. pdt destroy removes the app there, and a deploy to a new provider or region asks what to do with the old one. pdt init sets up the provider and can move a project to another one.
  • Each slow step shows one live line that updates while pdt waits.
  • -y is short for --yes, and the next steps after a deploy suggest pdt run APP --deployed --follow.
  • On AWS, --follow on the first run after a deploy no longer misses the start of the log.
  • On Windows, a schedule always runs on local time, and a schedule with a time zone is no longer rejected.
  • pdt installs newer tools: azure-cli 2.91.0, Google Cloud SDK 590.0.1, PowerShell 7.6.8, and uv 0.13.5. pdt replaces an older PowerShell or Google Cloud CLI that it installed, and uv.lock no longer has the known advisories.
  • The MSI file name includes the version.
