Glance & widgets
- Four home-screen widgets: 2x2, 4x2 (hourly strip), 4x3 dashboard (hourly + daily strip + AQI chip + coarse clock), and a multi-city widget with a configuration screen — pick any saved city when placing it
- Widgets tint and show "last updated X h ago" when their data goes stale
Alerts & notifications
- Quiet hours — a do-not-disturb window (default 22:00-07:00); notifications silenced, alert history still kept; covers the rain and golden-hour notifications too
- Snooze 1 h / Dismiss action buttons on alert notifications
- Custom alert builder — "notify me when UV is at or above 6": metric + threshold + your units
- Quieter saved-city alerts (12 h cooldown vs the active city's 6 h)
- Alert history — the last 20 delivered alerts with severity, city and time
Comparison & personalization
- Two-city comparison — side-by-side live + 7-day view with a week verdict
- Weather journal + comfort model — rate "how did today feel?"; after ~5 days the what-to-wear line calibrates to you
Data depth
- Animated rain radar — the last 2 h of RainViewer frames with pan/zoom/recenter and a scrubbable timeline; built-in keyless tile renderer, no map SDK, no API key
- Graph explorer — any metric over 24 h / 7 days / the past 30 days with a scrubbing crosshair
- AQI 5-day forecast — daily peaks with the US/EU scale toggle; pollen deep-dive fixed
- Marine upgrade — wave height, period and direction, swell, sea temperature (coastal locations)
- Aurora extras — live solar-wind speed + Bz, and a Kp last-24-h sparkline
- Sun & twilight card — twilight phases, blue hour, and a live sun-arc compass
- Historical explorer — the weather on any past date
