Что нового в 1.3.0

  • Новый экран «Шифрованный DNS» («Сеть» → «Шифрованный DNS»): «Сейчас DNS» отвечает на три вопроса — кто отвечает, что видит провайдер, что видит резолвер; «Шифрование» — три тумблера (раздельный резолв рунета теперь здесь же); «Протокол и резолвер» — плитки и выбор под выбранным протоколом.
  • DoQ и DoH3 — шифрованный DNS по QUIC. DoQ — родня DoT по QUIC, DoH3 — тот же DoH по HTTP/3; выбираются режимом внутри плитки: у DoH — «HTTP/2 · HTTP/3», у DoT — «TLS · QUIC». Это отдельный компонент «DoQ и DoH3» — ставится только тем, кому нужен. Ответит ли резолвер по QUIC, роутер проверяет при выборе; режут QUIC по дороге — сам шифрует ступенью ниже (DoQ → DoT → DoH, DoH3 → DoH), говорит об этом на экране и раз в час проверяет QUIC снова.
  • Oblivious DoH — третья плитка: запрос идёт через ретранслятор, и ретранслятор видит ваш адрес, но не вопрос, а резолвер-цель — вопрос, но не чей он. Цели и ретрансляторы — из каталога или свои; оба ретранслятора молчат — роутер шифрует по DoH напрямую к той же цели и сам возвращается на ODoH. Нужна новая программа DoH — плитка ведёт в «Компоненты».
  • 8 новых резолверов разных владельцев: Control D, DNS.SB, Mullvad DNS, Wikimedia DNS, DNS4EU, OpenDNS, Applied Privacy, LibreDNS. В списке рядом с именем — владелец и страна: именно он видит ваши DNS-запросы.
  • Zapret на AX3600 со штатной прошивкой 1.1.21: её ядру не хватает NFQUEUE, и компонент Zapret сам ставит пакет поддержки — модули, собранные именно под эту сборку (совместимость проверяется до загрузки). Другие прошивки и BE3600 пока не поддерживаются.

Исправлено

  • Проверка резолвера больше не верит кэшу: неработающий выбор резолвера, протокола или пары ODoH раньше мог «пройти» на ответе из памяти dnsmasq — теперь каждая проверка спрашивает новое имя.
  • Замолчавший DoT или ретранслятор ODoH сторож замечает за 2–4 минуты, а не за 10–12.
  • «Отключить VPN», если часть правил снять не удалось, сохраняет выключение и дожимает снятие в фоне; не вышло — пишет в журнал событий.
  • Zapret на AX3600: «Отключить VPN» и снятие компонента работают и после изменения настроек в веб-интерфейсе Xiaomi.
  • Выключение уже выключенного дополнительного выхода больше не отвечает «не снят — повторите»; выпадающие списки в формах снова со стрелкой.

Как обновиться

С 1.0.1 и новее: «Роутер» → «Обновление» → «Проверить обновления» → «Установить обновление» → «Обновить страницу». Затем, если нужны DoQ и DoH3, — «Роутер» → «Компоненты» → «DoQ и DoH3».

С 1.0.0 кнопка скрыта — откройте страницу обновления по прямой ссылке http://192.168.31.1:8088/#rr-update (если у роутера другой адрес — подставьте его).

Можно и с компьютера: мастер из архива ниже найдёт установленную панель и обновит её, настройки останутся.

What's new in 1.3.0

  • A new «Encrypted DNS» screen (Network → Encrypted DNS): «DNS right now» answers three questions — who answers, what the ISP sees, what the resolver sees; «Encryption» — three toggles (split resolution of the Russian segment is here now too); «Protocol and resolver» — tiles and the choice under the chosen protocol.
  • DoQ and DoH3 — encrypted DNS over QUIC. DoQ is DoT's sibling over QUIC, DoH3 is the same DoH over HTTP/3; they are a mode inside a tile: DoH — «HTTP/2 · HTTP/3», DoT — «TLS · QUIC». It is a separate «DoQ and DoH3» component — installed only by those who need it. Whether a resolver answers over QUIC, the router checks when you choose it; if QUIC is cut on the way, it encrypts a rung lower by itself (DoQ → DoT → DoH, DoH3 → DoH), says so on the screen and tries QUIC again every hour.
  • Oblivious DoH — a third tile: the query goes through a relay, and the relay sees your address but not the question, while the target resolver sees the question but not whose it is. Targets and relays — from the catalog or your own; if both relays go silent, the router encrypts by DoH straight to the same target and returns to ODoH by itself. It needs the new DoH program — the tile leads to «Components».
  • 8 new resolvers of different owners: Control D, DNS.SB, Mullvad DNS, Wikimedia DNS, DNS4EU, OpenDNS, Applied Privacy, LibreDNS. Next to each name in the list — its owner and country: that is who sees your DNS queries.
  • Zapret on AX3600 with stock firmware 1.1.21: its kernel lacks NFQUEUE, and the Zapret component installs a support package by itself — modules built for exactly this build (compatibility is checked before loading). Other firmware versions and BE3600 are not supported yet.

Fixed

  • The resolver check no longer trusts a cache: a resolver, protocol or ODoH pair that did not work could «pass» on an answer from dnsmasq's memory — now every check asks a fresh name.
  • A silent DoT or ODoH relay is noticed by the watchdog in 2–4 minutes, not 10–12.
  • «Turn the VPN off», when some rules could not be removed, keeps VPN off and finishes the removal in the background; if it cannot, it writes so to the event log.
  • Zapret on AX3600: «Turn the VPN off» and removing the component work after a change in Xiaomi's web interface too.
  • Turning off an extra exit that is already off no longer answers «not removed — retry»; drop-down lists in forms have their arrow back.

Updating

From 1.0.1 and newer: Router → Update → «Check for updates» → «Install the update» → «Reload the page». Then, if you want DoQ and DoH3 — Router → Components → «DoQ and DoH3».

In 1.0.0 the button is hidden — open the update page by its direct link http://192.168.31.1:8088/#rr-update (if your router has another address, put it instead).

From a computer works too: the wizard in the archive below finds the installed panel and updates it; the settings stay.

Установка с компьютера: скачайте enodia-setup-1.3.0.zip, распакуйте и запустите enodia-setup.bat (Windows) или enodia-setup.command / enodia-setup.sh (macOS / Linux). Пакет кода и программы протоколов обеих архитектур — внутри архива: за ними компьютеру в интернет не нужно (Python и утилиту открытия SSH, если их нет, лаунчер и мастер скачают сами).

enodia-100066.tar.gz — пакет обновления по воздуху: роутеры берут его сами (кнопка «Обновление» в панели), вручную его качать не нужно.

Install from a computer: download enodia-setup-1.3.0.zip, unpack it and run enodia-setup.bat (Windows) or enodia-setup.command / enodia-setup.sh (macOS / Linux). The code package and the protocol programs for both architectures are inside the archive, so the computer needs no internet for them (if Python or the SSH-opening tool is missing, the launcher and the wizard download them).

enodia-100066.tar.gz is the over-the-air update package: routers fetch it themselves (the “Update” button in the panel), there is no need to download it by hand.
