KernelContract 0.1.0a3 Alpha Pre-release

KernelContract is an alpha diagnostic utility providing local-first, read-only health checks for Jupyter kernels, kernelspecs, and notebook environments.

What's Changed in 0.1.0a3:

  • PyPI Trusted Publishing: Added dedicated GitHub Actions publishing workflow (.github/workflows/publish-to-pypi.yml) using OIDC authentication, release triggers, and manual environment approvals.
  • Environment Protection: Configured GitHub environment pypi with required reviewer protection and deployment tag restrictions matching �*.
  • Packaging Hardening: Added package distribution build and validation with python -m build and python -m twine check --strict.
  • Documentation: Resolved repository URL placeholders and established verified Git-based pre-release installation instructions.
