Music

Music notifications are now identified by package name (Currently supports spotify, YT Music, VI Music, and Fossify Music).
It is done this way to avoid false positives that could occur blindly identifying any media (YT, browsers...).

When music is identified:

  • A visualizer is displayed.
  • The notification is saved so that, if there is another notification and you clear it, the display goes back to the music notification.

Customization

You can now make some changes to the way the display looks.
Currently you can change style and font. Styles are essentially presets for various customizations like font, font colour, background colour, and visualizer style.
Font is obvious, it changes the font of the text.
Any changes to specific elements, such as font, override the style, meaning you can use a style preset and then make changes to it.

The current options are:

  • 2000s MP3 Player (Blue) style - mimicing classic MP3 players with bright blue LCD displays.
  • Retro 7SEG (Red) style - Bright red 7 segment style font with a retro style visualizer.
  • 7SEG Style font (digital7).
  • Pixel font (dogica).

You can make changes and reset your settings. Upon saving the services restart applying the changes.

Other

  • Notification text adjusted to fit 3 lines of text instead of 2.
  • Reliability of second screen turn offs improved.
  • ListenerService can now tell if the phone is folded based on a combination of screen status and promixty sensor reading.
  • More exception handling.
