The first experimental CLI and Unix daemon release for Linux and macOS.

Included

• Linux and macOS CLI and Unix daemon archives, shell installers, SHA-256 checksums, build provenance, dependency metadata, and CycloneDX bills of materials.
• Explicit capabilities, Cedar policy, session/task selectors, structured task limits, hook evaluation, and a durable hash-chained audit log.
• Operator-authenticated local approvals, expiring single-use/scoped grants, revocation, signed evidence, offline verification, and encrypted original-policy/what-if replay.
• A cooperative Unix command wrapper, diagnostics, and 26 golden conformance cases with signed/encrypted replay coverage.
• Native key-store lifecycle checks on Linux/macOS/Windows, bounded parser/authorization fuzzing, Miri, WebAssembly/dependency isolation, and hosted latency/heap measurements.
• Archive-level smoke checks verify checksums, extraction, executable versions, hook allow/deny behavior, and audit verification before publication.

Compatibility and limits

• Policies require explicit capability declarations and shiin.policy/v1-draft.2; older replay engine versions are refused.
• MCP and custom-client integrations remain available from source; the first alpha installs the CLI and Unix daemon.
• Attested agent identity, trusted policy layers, Windows daemon/path support, remote approvals, live-host qualification, and independent review remain open.
• No stable API, specification freeze, independent audit, or completion of the v1.0 roadmap is claimed.
